Their, There and They're By Vanessa

There: Means something that is at a place

They're: means "they are"

Their: belonging to someone

There, Their and They're by Maggie

There, Their and They’re
There
You use “there” when you say where is the object or living thing. For example: Look! There is the Ice-cream truck.
Their
Use “their” when you say something belongs to them. For example: That is not our Kitty, it is their Kitty.
They’re
“They’re” is short for “they are”. So when you are using it, if they are doesn’t make sense, “they’re” is not going to work either. For example: They’re going to the Movies.

Difference between their, there and they're

Their

  • means that they belong to someone else
  • lso used to show ownership

Example: Michael and Lola left their car at home as it was a fine night.

There

  • If you are talking about a place then you need need the word there.
  • This word tell you where something goes or where something is.

Example: Michael dropped his coat on the floor. Lola said: "Don't put it there, Michael. Hang it on a hook."

They're

  • is 2 words put together the two words are "they are"
  • it is a short word for they are but it is easier to say and write

Example: "Where are my parents meeting us?" asked Lola. "They're meeting us at the restaurant," said Michael.

Joe's Wanted Poster

Hi
Room 5 has been creating wanted posters. It must be for a notorious criminal. My wanted poster is about Loki. If you find him, let me know. Your reward will be $10000000!

Wanted Poster by Luke

Amazing room 5 made Wanted posters with our favourite notorious bad guy. We were learning about the word Notorious, so we could choose a fictional notorious character to make a Wanted poster for. We had to offer a reward. My reward was a lot of money. I hope you enjoyed it.

If you find him let me know!
