Alice's Summer Poem

Summer Poem
Summer smells like the strong salty sea water travelling up my nose when I walk across the beach. I can smell fish and chips as families picnic on the beach at sunset.

Summer sounds like waves crashing onto the wet slippery rocks. I can hear seagulls squawking as they circle over my head, looking for their next meal.

Summer tastes like delicious chocolate ice-cream melting in my mouth. I can taste the salty sea water swirling in my mouth after I get dunked by a wave.

Summer looks like the sun beaming on the deep blue shimmering sea. I can see people sunbathing in the burning hot sun. People are splashing in the shallow blue sea. I love watching seagulls flying high in the bright blue sky.

Summer feels like the soft, silky, hot sand on the bottom of my feet. I can feel the sharp shells pinching my feet. I can feel the freezing cold sea splashing on my body.

Summer

Summer

Summer smells like the salty waves splashing onto the sand. I can smell sunblock stench rubbing off.

Summer sounds like kids playing in the hot sun. I can hear the sea foaming onto the sand.

Summer tastes like ice cream melting in my cone. I can taste an ice block melting in my mouth.

Summer looks like sandcastles washing away. I can see seagulls so high it sky with the blinding sun. I can see kids playing with a beach ball.

Jasmine's Senses Poem

Summer Senses

Summer smells like the mouth-watering scent of sausages being grilled on a steaming barbecue. As I ride past the windy beach, I can smell the salty sea foaming onto the wet sand. I love the delicious smell of Fish n Chips being cooked by my mum.

Summer sounds like the beautiful birds singing loud and clear like the cow's bells ringing. I can hear little kids singing with the birds. I like to hear pop music from my stereo.

Summer tastes like the cold vanilla Ice cream melting in my mouth. I can taste the juicy steak fresh of the barbecue. I like to taste the freshly caught, salty Fish 'n Chips.

Summer looks like a green healthy environment near the beach. I can see the sun shining brightly on the cold, heavy waves pushing me onto shore, As I walk along the golden sand, I love to see the colourful sea shells scattered on the shore.

Summer feels like the soft sand sliding off my hand like silk. I like to feel the cold water sticking to my body. I enjoy feeling the cold big waves pushing me to shore.

Fisher's Summer Senses Poem

Summer Senses

Summer tastes like sausages fresh from the grill. I can taste beautiful ice cream dipped in chocolate melting in my mouth.

Summer looks like the burning sun as it shines down and burns people on the beach. I can see a volleyball flying back and forth  as people enjoy their summer holiday.

Summer smells like the freshness of a glorious day. I
Can smell the saltiness of seaweed filled wares.

Summer sounds like beautiful whales echoing on a clear morning at the beach. I can hear sausages sizzling on the BBQ shooting out sparks of fire burning the sausages that are meant to be my dinner.

A Summer Life

A Summer Life

Summer smells like the salty sea crashing upon the shore as the sun sets across the golden sand. I can smell the delicious aroma of barbecues toasting supper while I run around having fun with friends and family.

Summer sounds like children laughing and eating ice blocks and birds chirping in the early morning sun. The beach sounds like family and friends having an excellent time.

Summer tastes like sweet fruit and cold ice cream refreshing me on a hot day. I love the taste of freezing cold ice blocks, melting in the blazing sun. I can taste the frozen drinks gliding down my throat as I drink the delicious sweet treat.

Summer feels like the summer breeze rushing past me as I walk down to that soft sand that tickles along the soles of my feet. I can feel the bumpy shells that have been scattered across the beach rustling along the heels of my feet as I walk across the rocks, avoiding oysters.

Summer looks like the beautiful sun set that spreads across the beach while I bob up and down in the sea. The beach looks crowded as citizens enjoy its fabulous nature - swimming, building sand castles and playing games. The clear blue sky sees the sea glistening and families picnicking on the golden sand.
